Job Overview
As an Investor Analyst Manager, you will be responsible for generating investor insights to understand investing behaviours and trends. Through conducting market research and quantitative analysis on the Capital Markets, you will develop a model to help identify target investor profiles for our clients. By understanding what our target investors look like, you will collaborate with the marketing and investor relations team to guide and provide direction for our investor marketing efforts and outreach strategy. Thus, you will play a crucial role in developing profitable decisions to select the right “crowd” for our client’s crowdfunding campaign.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on industry and  investing trends, private placements, Regulation A, crowdfunded startups and other relevant topics.
• Collect and analyze retail and institutional investor data to develop statistical reports on investor profiles, demographics and psychographics.
• Research investing communities to build potential investor profiles and other crowdfunding opportunities for pre-investment stage clients.
• Deliver reports and presentations of key research findings to management teams
• Monitor investor analytics and report investing trends.
• Develop and manage quantitative models, database and software to automate insights for the Marketing Team, and Investor Relations team.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working in a related analyst position.
• 3+ years of experience in the Capital Markets is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Computer science or another quantitative field is preferred. 
• Ability to integrate machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Experience in dealing with large, complex data sets and developing statistical models.
• Ability to self-direct and work independently on ambiguous, sophisticated projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to discuss concepts in mathematics and finance.
